Contract and Analysis Services uses the
DemandStar system by Onvia to distribute information about bidding and contracting opportunities to potential vendors.
DemandStar allows users to download contracting documents and to submit quotes and bids electronically in a secured environment, eliminating the need for vendors to deliver personally to our offices. It is currently being used by more than 400 different government entities nationwide.
Vendors are encouraged to use
DemandStar to obtain contracting materials and to submit bids and quotes online, but it is not a mandatory requirement at present. Contract and Analysis Services will still provide printed copies of solicitation documents and will continue to accept traditional hard copy submissions.
