Water Treatment
Saint Paul Regional Water Services (SPRWS) supplies reliable, quality water and services at a reasonable cost to the city of Saint Paul and neighboring communities. Approximately 46 million gallons of water is treated daily and distributed through 1,100 miles of water main to more than 415,000 people.

SPRWS uses a conservation-based rate structure that discourages excessive water usage during the summer months, operates a leak detection unit that identifies and locates leaks to reduce water loss, maintains extensive forested areas in local watershed systems to protect source waters, and much more.
