City Employee Salary Notification
Minnesota state law ?– Chapter 156 of the
Sessions Laws of 2005 ?– requires that
"a city or county with a population of more than
15,000 must annually notify its residents of the
positions and base salaries of its three highest
paid employees." For the City of Saint Paul, titles and salaries as of February 1, 2013 are:
Deputy Mayor - $139,959,
Chief of Police - $139,337 and
General Manager-Water Dept. - $138,255.
